1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon of lemon/lime juice
1 or 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 or 3 teaspoons of Happy Eating House Chiu Chow Chilli Oil (make sure you get the chilli flakes!)
(Optional) 1 tablespoon of sour cream
Salt and pepper to season
Crush the ripe avocado with a fork until creamy and less lumpy - add the lemon or lime juice to make this easier and stop it from going brown. Stir in the crushed garlic, chilli oil and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to your taste - add more chilli oil if you like a spicier version! Perfect with just about anything - as a side dip or with a main meal e.g. picture above with roasted salmon and couscous.
